Children in Need needs you to make a Facebook cake

Fancy a slice of Pudsey's cake? BBC Children in Need needs your help to build a giant cartoon cake on Facebook -- and raise oodles of boodle for disadvantaged kids, of course.

Children in Need mascot Pudsey Bear has set up the Fancy A Spot of Cake app on his Facebook page, and aims to bake the world's biggest digital cake through your donations.

Yes, a digital cake, composed of layers containing exclusive clips from personalities like Graham Norton, musicals like Wicked, TV shows such as Strictly Come Dancing, and other celebrity supporters. As the cake grows, you can measure it against landmarks from Big Ben and the London Eye to Blackpool Tower and the Angel of the North -- and even outer space.

You can add a coloured spot or layers of icing or sponge depending on whether you want to donate
